Bali International Women's Association
Today ladies, I hope you don't mind me sharing with you the wonderful organisation we at Linen with Luv have an ongoing commitment to donate to. For those not aware it's the Bali International Women's Association known as (BIWA).
From the very beginning of our Label , and given our beautiful European linen pieces are Ethically and Sustainably made in Sanur, Bali - We wanted to give back to that community.
Fast forward nearly three years & we have donated several thousand dollars to this very worthwhile organisation.
Since Covid, things have got quiet grave in Bali without the income from tourists.
BIWA have now implemented a Floating kitchen initiative, aiming to feed as many folks and families as they can. Linen with Luv has committed to a minimum donation of $200 monthly which will go towards purchasing the food required to help make the meals for the foreseeable future .
Clearly without your support we would not be able to donate this money on a regular basis.
Lastly, I just wanted ask that if you, or someone you know may have an extra dollar or two to donate to BIWA pls message or call me and I can pass on my BIWA contact details. After talking with Putu Maryam, the BIWA President last night, every $1.00 donated is a hot meal for a needy person, and can really make such a difference.
The pictures attached are of 2 days ago when the Floating kitchen & BIWA supplied meals for many needy families on the street.
Thanks so very much for your ongoing support .
With luv
